Post Winter Empties
When a product runs out, it's a bit of a test to see how much you actually liked that product. I had a bit of a clear out recently and had a few empties so here's a review of each one and whether or not I would repurchase them.
Benefit Hoola Bronzer This bronzer actually lasted for ages! When I purchased it I didn't know why it took me so long to try it as it's just the perfect shade whether I'm tanned or not. The only thing I disliked was the packaging. Like why is it square? You have to kind of scrunch your brush inside it and as you start to hit pan it makes it difficult to pick up product. Would I purchase again? I'm unsure as it does feel quite pricey but when you compare it with others like MAC, it seems normal. Maybe if it goes on offer somewhere I might, but I'm not feeling the 'OMG I NEED IT' kinda vibe.
Topshop Concealer I bloody love this concealer! It's the only liquid concealer I've used which doesn't crease under my eyes. It has the wand of the Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer but a formula similar to the Nars Creamy Concealer. However, it didn't seem to last me that long. Would I repurchase? Yes, I stocked up and bought 3 when they had 25% off! I wear mine in shade Buttermilk.
Garnier Micellar Water I don't use this to take off my makeup as I'd go through about 10 cotton pads a night! But, I keep a travel sized bottle in my skincare bag as sometimes you just need it to wipe across your skin and refresh up your face in the morning if you know what I mean? If you don't know already, Micellar technology picks up the dirt directly from your skin and absorbs it as you swipe across your face instead of dragging it across your face, leading to blocked and dirty pores. Would I repurchase? Yes! Everyone needs this it's a skincare staple.
Ubran Decay Brightening and Tightening Primer When I bought this I thought it was rubbish, but you just have to work it into your skin slightly more than usual. It leaves behind a tacky effect which I love (instead of a silicone feel). I have dry skin and this just made my skin look more plump, awake and glowy. Sadly, I actually think they've discontinued this primer now. I can't find it anywhere, if you do let me know please! I'd say that the Too Faced Hangover Primer is a great alternative and slightly more hydrating.
Revolution Conceal & Define Concealer I mean, do I really need to say more? I feel like the hype behind this has done the talking! I did really like this but I literally used this for a week and it ran out, you get barely any product. I know that since I used it they've added super sized ones which is fab. Would I repurchase? Yeah! It's cheap and it is really good for a flawless under eye, but I'd rather get a bigger tube. I wear shade C5.
L'oreal Pro Glow Foundation This is the most slept on foundation ever. Honestly, all I do is bang on about this foundation! If you have dry skin, love medium-full dewy finish then this is for YOU! It's just super annoying as it's only available on Amazon and not in Boots/Superdrug. Would I repurchase? yes! I had bulk bought 5 of these haha but I'm on my last one now. If you're in America, pick this up you won't regret it.
